It even affected this game, due to war Blizzard didn't open any Russian servers, so they flooded all of EU instead. Given my proximity to Ukraine, I'm well aware about current situation. Their model makes Lost Ark look like charity in comparison. Perhaps they had to rework whole monetization at some point, which might have been one of main reasons for this delay, yet it still came out with some of the worst business practices. Sure, it's "beta", but they were developing this for a few years and they could have done so much better than this. Controls and menus are very clunky, sometimes move or attack are not registering properly. Looks like much was up to Blizzard and they couldn't even deliver a good PC port. Netease was involved until some point at least, although their work has finished a long time ago. Guess I'm back to Grim Dawn again, it always brings back Titan Quest memories. I very rarely play on mobile and my laptop cannot handle Immortal. I went from mistrust and misunderstanding of the announcement to hopes that Immortal would be playable on PC and I'll have something fresh but familiar to play while I'm displaced (i'm Ukrainian and it's rough here). I understand that releasing Immortal will be like 100x times the profit of a D3 exp though. Last time I checked D4 was not even on a horizon. Hell, if they would just release an expansion for D3 I'd buy it, why not. The sad thing about Immortal is that quite some time was spent to develop it, it looks like a third-party dev was involved though. I wonder though what happens with items stored in there when it expires?Įither blocked or mailed like in D3 Seasons just so you'd buy the pass again, probably. I guess a lot of those who bought it might be unaware of it, so expect even more people pissed at the game. Two versions of season pass, what's funny is the bonus stash it gives will apparently disappear after season is over, so players have to buy another one. Then there are those small bundles that are also meant to get people used to spending. I played it for first few hours, initially it gives quite a lot of loot and gold to ease people into spending later. Being called a *filtered* is only the bottom of the mildest things you encounter here, I have no idea why western companies boast with "inclusivity" and "progressive" cultural acceptance when in reality they are censoring these people. Splitting the EU into east/west and applying fitting policies would be way better than eastern european people getting banned and muted 24/7. They also didn't realize EU has a different culture than US, banter is way more common and there is no "cancelling" or "unacceptable words". Then there's the encroaching censorship, chat was fun the first day but now they are sending reports and mutes all over the place for discussing anything remotely negative, whether it is about the state of the game or unrelated topics. I've played for a few hours and the worst part is the people justifying payment and then saying stuff like "but its free, you can all get it for free if you wanted" while in reality its impossible to acquire such character power unless you play 24/7. We all know the biggest known issue is that they actually released this trash. Voice-to-text transcription services may not be working for certain languages. PC settings have been inserted into their respective sections within the menu and may require a bit of exploration to find. Windowed mode does not currently support resizing. Print Screen does not currently save screenshots into the directory folder.Ĭhat is currently missing features such as /commands, copy/paste, and select all text. General movement, interactions, and abilities may be inaccurate at times. Key binds do not currently support modifier keys such as ALT, CTRL, and SHIFT. Pressing ESC may open the Main Menu over other menus. New patches will require players to update before they can continue playing. Patches are larger client-side updates that require a download for players to obtain. They don’t require a large download to be applied to the game. Hotfixes are typically applied in a higher frequency, addressing smaller, related issues. We will continue to add any new issues that arise to this list.Īs patches and hotfixes are applied to the PC Open Beta version of Diablo Immortal, we will update this list with the corresponding changes.
